Shipping Kognita 0.3: gateways, the run and replay
Kognita alpha 0.3.0 shipped the AI gateway, the MCP proxy, run budgets and replay, and the README was rewritten to describe only what was true.
What was wrong?
0.3 was complete on main. The package, changelog and README still described the 0.2 world.
What did I build?
The release bump changed only the version and the changelog section. A separate docs pass rewrote 'What it does today' and trimmed 'Known limitations' to gaps that were still true, checked against the code and the CLI help.
The package description now names the AI gateway and the MCP proxy.
What surprised me?
Keeping the release and the description separate made each easy to review.
What's still open?
Continuous learning was described as later roadmap work. It is not a feature yet.
What would I tell another builder?
Your README is a claim. Check every line against the code before a release.
