Ahmed Muzammil is a Singapore-based Data & AI leader and Vice President, Data Science & Advanced Analytics at Bank of Singapore, where he leads a team working on data science, advanced analytics and applied AI in private banking.

He started as an engineer. He built crew-training and workflow applications for Singapore Airlines at Tata Consultancy Services, then spent five years at Bank Julius Baer on compliance and business-process applications, including anti-money-laundering name screening. In 2017 he founded Growth Bamboo, setting up CRM, lead-generation and marketing systems for more than 20 small and medium businesses across six countries, and created the Business Maximizer® framework for owner-led businesses.

He joined Bank of Singapore in 2019 as Lead Data Engineer and acting technical system owner for one of the bank's data warehouses, and has since moved into data science and applied AI: client-intelligence signals for relationship teams, predictive models for client engagement, and real-time alerts for the front office.

His focus today is the layer around the model: the context, permissions, controls, workflows and human approval that let AI act safely inside a regulated institution. He created the PINPOINT framework for specifying work for AI and the BLUEPRINT framework for designing governed agents, and is building Kognita, an open-source governance engine for AI agents, now in alpha.

Ahmed has trained more than 2,000 practitioners in practical AI and received the Top Trainer Award in 2024 and 2025. Traicon named him one of its Visionary Leaders to Watch in AI and in Fintech for 2026. He speaks regularly on governed AI, decision systems and AI in wealth management, and will deliver a keynote at the Singapore Agentic AI Forum in February 2027.
