A flight recorder for AI runs, with optional OpenTelemetry
Kognita alpha 0.4 reads runs, decisions, citations and alerts from the evidence chain and exports a run as self-verifying JSON.
Operators need to see what agents did without querying the evidence tables by hand.
kognita recorder lists recent runs, shows and exports one, and reports alerts and effectiveness rates. Export reuses the chain verification, so the file proves itself.
Every report cites the rule it used, and a missing measurement is shown as unmeasured, not zero. Runs can now be inspected from the evidence itself.
OpenTelemetry is an optional extra. The engine never imports it.
If you're building one
Build observability on the audit record. Then the dashboard and the audit cannot disagree.
