Framework adapters for OpenAI Agents, LangGraph, Pydantic AI and Hermes
Kognita alpha 0.4 ships four small framework adapters that route tool calls through run_governed and model calls through the AI gateway.
Teams build agents in different frameworks. Governance that only works in one of them won't get used.
Four adapters, each its own optional extra and each under 200 lines. Tool calls go through run_governed and model calls through the gateway. A refusal cites the deciding rule and does not run the tool or call the provider.
Keeping each adapter tiny kept the governance in the core, not in the glue. Agents in four frameworks can now be governed without rewriting them.
Some extras pin conflicting versions, so they cannot all be installed together. They are deliberately not part of the 'all' extra.
Put a line limit on your adapters. It stops policy logic leaking into integration code.
